A few lines from a poem I wrote about Dan Fogelberg, in an effort to say something about his insight into life at a surprisingly young age:
Telling tales of life and love, he crafted songs with words of wisdom,
Words of truth and beauty set to melodies that made us listen.
One so young should not have known to write the words that said so much;
Feelings he could not have felt till life caught up with wisdom's thoughts.
